Hi 👋 I'm Jurij and welcome to my workshop.

I've been building software since 2011, but after 9 years locked into a 9-5 developer job without sabbaticals, I finally transitioned back to independence in July 2024.

Now I run Varstatt, offering iterative product development on weekly retainer, helping founders build the software without the agency hassle.

This workshop is where I document the real stuff: managing client work, building products on the side, the messy reality of going independent. Written for fellow service providers, indie hackers, and anyone building their own path.

You'll find client case studies (when I can share them), experiments with new tools, random reflections on building software and running a service business.

I'm tired of hearing about how to do things right. This workshop is deliberately anti-right: no plan, no schedule, no format. Basically, all things that make personal writing feel good.

It's about learning in public, changing my mind when I discover something new, using writing as therapy and practice.

Everyone's welcome, and there's a seat here alongside me.
